What happened on July 4th in Highland Park was horrifying and senseless. Gun violence, exacerbated by easy access to automatic weapons, continues to shatter our society and inflict fear and pain on everyone. I am grieving with the impacted families, and support them as we all mourn this preventable tragedy.

Highland Park Community Foundation's July 4th Highland Park Shooting Response Fund
- All Donations Will Go Directly to Victims and Survivors or the Organizations that Support Them. This donation form has been set up by the City of Highland Park.   

Lake County Community Crisis Relief Fund
- 100% of donations will be granted to support the needs of the community including mental health counseling services, downtown revitalization, violence prevention and education and other urgent needs as they arise.
